Application:
1. Common production process of zinc oxide used in feed industry:
a. Zinc oxide was produced by calcination process of purified crude zinc oxide ash.
b. Zinc is converted into zinc ions solution, which are then converted into zinc hydroxide by alkali, and then calcined to zinc oxide.The zinc oxide obtained by these two processes may result in a violent reaction between zinc oxide and gastric acid.
2. Unique Technology for Zincostar:
Zinc is converted into basic zinc carbonate intermediate by complexing sedimentation agent, and then decomposed into zinc oxide by calcination. The zinc oxide synthesized by this method is milder in nature and slightly weaker in alkalinity than the zinc oxide produced by the traditional process. After entering the animal body, the reaction with gastric acid will not be so intense

① After the Zincostar passes through the stomach, most of the zinc oxide molecules act directly on the intestinal mucosa, take
effect on anti-bacteria, anti-inflammation, repair intestinal mucosa, and so on, prevent or control diarrhea.
② Coated zinc oxide, due to its coating material properties and preparation process are different, so there are great uncertainties
in the release site, rate and dosage; And because of the low content of zinc oxide (only about 50%), it is often necessary to overdose (2.5-4.0 kg/t feed), resulting in high cost.

① No agglomeration, no residues on processing equipment(some feed mills found a large amount of zinc in non-piglet feed
exceeding the standard, and residue of zinc oxide in processing equipment is a possible reason).

Lower dosage and lower cost:
For weaned piglets: 1.0-1.5kg/t, reduced around 50% dosage compared with coated Zinc Oxide.

Use 1.0-1.5kg/t diet for two weeks after weaning.
① Warm Season: 1.0kg/t feed.
② Cold Season: 1.5kg/t feed.
